Freshwater Fish Catfish Plecos
Green Phantom Pleco L200 - Hemiancistrus subvirdis This species is found in rocky cracks of flowing rivers. Lots of boulders are the norm for the aquarium where wood and plants are not needed by these fish. They can be an effective algae eater but will take algae wafers and prepared foods. Has been bred in the aquarium where clutches usually are around 40 eggs. Males will guard the eggs. Eggs hatch in 3 or 4 days and start to eat in roughly 10 days.
