Green Severum - Heros efasciatus "Rio Negro" This fish is often confused with Heros severus which actually are a mouthbrooding cichlid that is very seldom available in the hobby. The Green Severum has been a staple in the hobby for several decades. It is an easy fish to keep in a large community tank with many other types of cichlids and non-cichlids! It tends not to bother any fish it cannot fit into it's mouth.
